During the construction phase of our solar project in Shropshire, Aukera hosted a site visit for the local community liaison group and the local MP.
The visit was a great opportunity to answer questions directly, and demonstrate how the solar technology works in practice. Members of Aukera’s project team led the tour, explaining the construction process, safety measures, environmental considerations and how the site would operate once complete.
Alongside dedicated Community Liaison Group meetings, the visit helped build on the discussions, giving local representatives a clear picture of how the project was being delivered and managed.
Maintaining open communication during construction has been a key part of responsible development and successful long-term community relationships.
