East York Energy Hub

East York Energy Hub has been strategically located, nestled between the Osbaldwick Substation to the west and the A64 to the east and away from existing residential properties.

East York Energy Hub will enable energy to be stored and then released to the Grid when it is needed most. If approved, the scheme would be capable of storing up to 249.9MW of electricity, which will help balance electricity supply and demand across the region.
